Felice A Coles

Dr. Felice Coles is a Professor of Spanish and Linguistics in the Department of Modern Languages at the University of Mississippi. She is also the Graduate Program Coordinator for the Ph.D. in Second Language Studies.

Research Interests

Dr. Coles' research interests include Spanish in the United States and dialects of American English. She also studies obsolescence of minority languages in the United States.

Biography

Dr. Coles teaches Spanish linguistics and general linguistics at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She is the Editor of the Southern Journal of Linguistics and advisor to Alpha Lambda Delta Freshman Honor Society and Phi Sigma Iota International Foreign Language Honor Society.
