  • Chamber Ensembles

The University of Mississippi offers numerous chamber ensemble performance opportunities for students that are coached by Music Faculty. These include woodwind, brass, string, and mixed instrumental ensembles. Chamber music is an important part of a student's curriculum, and participating in non-conducted chamber ensembles promotes independence, improved aural skills, and fosters leadership in its participants. Our chamber music ensembles are committed to performing a wide range of literature that includes standards as well as music that reflects the currency of our time.
