Biography

My primary interests were in quantifying the effects of erosion control measures on stream ecosystems, improving fish community diversity in Northern Mississippi streams and aquatic habitat restoration. As Station Director my vision for the UMFS is for it to become an anchor for significant eco-sciences research with ecosystem stewardship as a focal point and unifying theme. Our day to day operations are intended to support three major areas education, research and outreach.
