Dr. Jinchao Lou is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Mississippi. Her research focuses on the development of stimuli-responsive materials for targeted drug delivery and the design of chemical biology tools to study biological systems.

Biography

Dr. Jinchao Lou joined the University of Mississippi as an Assistant Professor in 2024. She received her Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2022. Her research bridges organic chemistry, chemical biology, and nanomaterial design to develop responsive materials for therapeutic and diagnostic applications. Her group focuses on engineering stimuli-responsive systems that can navigate complex biological environments, with the goal of advancing strategies for disease diagnosis and treatment, as well as developing chemical biology tools to probe biological systems.
