Avery Johnston, from Madison, Mississippi, is a freshman at the University of Mississippi studying Public Policy through the Trent Lott Institute and Integrated Marketing Communications. She has enjoyed her time at the university as both a student and a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. Avery is a former member of the Madison Junior Civitan Club, which encouraged young people to embrace good citizenship through community service and leadership development. She values this experience and looks forward to working with more nonprofits in the future by applying her marketing and public policy knowledge.
